Love Poem
Your beauty overwhelms me
As I wrap my arms around you
I press your softness tight
Great passion fills my inner being
I’m captured in your embrace
Your eyes control my very soul
The touch of your lips, heaven
Forever frozen in time
All else fades into nothing

If You But Knew
If you but knew
How all my days seemed filled with dreams of you;
How sometimes in the silent night
Your eyes thrill through me with their tender light,
How oft I hear your voice when others speak,
How you ‘mid other forms I seek-
Oh, love more real than though such dreams were true
If you but knew…
Could you but guess
How you alone make all my happiness;
How I am more than willing for your sake
To stand alone, give all, and nothing take,
Nor chafe to think you bound, while I am free,
Quite free, till death to love you silently,
Could you but guess…
Could you but learn
How when you doubt my truth I sadly yearn
To tell you all, to stand for one brief space,
Unfettered, soul to soul, and face to face,
To crown you king, my king, till life shall end,
My lover and likewise, my truest friend,
Would you love me, dearest, as fondly in return,
Could you but learn?

I Love You
I Love You
Not only for what you have
made of your self
but for what you are making of me.
I love you
Because you have done more
than anyone or anything
to make me happy.
You have done it with out a word,
with out a touch,
with out a sign.
You have done it just
by being your self.
After all,
perhaps that is what love means.

In Love With You
In the warm glow of a winter night,
your heart and mine warming each other.
Your warm embrace chases the chill away
In your strong warm arms I am here to stay.
The flickering fire shadowing throughout
can never replace the warmth that I feel…
when I’m
Wanting you…
Needing you…
and always so in love with you

Love is like a Rose
Love has to be nurtured,
with care, tolerance, forgiveness,
Seasoned with freedom to grow.
Only then can the true brilliance
Of the rose be known.

Love Is…
Caressing with your words,
Listening with your heart,
Kissing with your eyes,
Loving with your soul..
Falling in love is when he lays in your arms
and wakes up in your dreams..
Love is the glue that keeps us all
from falling apart..
Love is a canvass furnished by nature &
embroidered by imagination..
Love is perhaps the only glimpse
we are permitted of eternity..
The ultimate gift of true love
is to be consumed by it..

My Spirit
My Spirit is sent to you by the wind.
My soul is sent to you by an Eagle,
If one day, you feel the wind on your face,
That is my spirit kissing you softly,
bringing you my love
If one day you see an eagle high in the sky,
That is my soul showing you how free you are.

One True Love
How can I ever tell you that
you mean the world to me
All the little things you do
sweet words and golden smiles
Makes me love you even more
Being with you is all I need
to know my life is complete
You are my true love

Our Love
Love is that warm feeling
The spiritual joining
Two people can share.
This love defies understanding
Where words cannot express,
A touch cannot satisfy,
Or a flower only symbolizes.
My love for you
Belongs only to you
OUR good and OUR bad,
OUR strengths and OUR weaknesses.
Our differences are many,
But the one thing we share,
Our love, Overshadows all.

Shall I Compare Thee?
Shall I compare thee to a summer’s day?
Thou art more lovely and more temperate.
Rough winds do shake the darling buds of May,
And summer’s lease hath all too short a date.
Sometime too hot the eye of heaven shines,
And often is his gold complexion dimmed;
And every fair from fair sometime declines,
By chance or nature’s changing course untrimmed;
But thy eternal summer shall not fade
Nor lose possession of that fair thou owest;
Nor shall Death brag thou wanderest in his shade,
When in eternal lines to time thou growest:
So long as men can breathe or eyes can see,
So long lives this, and this gives life to thee.

The Warmth Of You
The day is beginning as we nestle
the warm scent floating above us.
Your movements awaken my passion
as our hands, fingers intertwined.
Tracing paths, sounds of the morning
only echoing our pleasures of the night.
A breeze gives waver to a few strands
of my hair against your skin.
It is the softness of your breath
as we smile into the day.
New beginnings, new charms, newness
as our love enfolds the two of us as one.
The day bursting forth,
holding you close to me,
feeling your love growing within.
The gentleness of your kiss as we begin,
but only making the moment complete
is the light tracing of your lips against mine.

Love Poem With Toast Miller Williams
Some of what we do, we do
to make things happen,
the alarm to wake us up, the coffee to perc,
the car to start.
The rest of what we do, we do
trying to keep something from doing something,
the skin from aging, the hoe from rusting,
the truth from getting out.
With yes and no like the poles of a battery
powering our passage through the days,
we move, as we call it, forward,
wanting to be wanted,
wanting not to lose the rain forest,
wanting the water to boil,
wanting not to have cancer,
wanting to be home by dark,
wanting not to run out of gas,
as each of us wants the other
watching at the end,
as both want not to leave the other alone,
as wanting to love beyond this meat and bone,
we gaze across breakfast and pretend.

“Love Poem,”
“In a month’s time I may feel differently, but at this moment I am prepared to swear that I would like nothing better than to spend the rest of my life picking the fallen hairs from your shoulders. I would grow out my fingernails just for that purpose. I would give up the ocean for the mud puddles of your eyes. We could move to South Dakota and howl among the tornadoes and stomp across the prairies and fall asleep in each other’s arms as sweat pools in the crevices of our elbows and crop-dusters drone overhead. ” —

short love poem
If I could have all the time in the world,
I know what I would do:
I’d spend the time
In pleasure sublime,
Just by being with you. Every day with you gives me a thrill;
All my dreams you richly fulfill.
I’m a fool for your charms;
You belong in my arms;
Love me; please say that you will. Run away with me
For you are my one true love.
Let’s go where we can be together
And stay that way forever. You changed my world with a blink of an eye
That is something that I cannot deny
You put my soul from worst to best
That is why I treasure you my dearest MaritesYou just don’t know what you have done for me
You even pushed me to the best that I can be
You really are an angel sent from above
To take care of me and shower with love. “A flower was offered to me:
Such a flower as May never bore.
But I said “I’ve a Pretty Rose-tree”,
And I passed the sweet flower o’er.
Then I went to my Pretty Rose-tree:
To tend her by day and by night.
But my Rose turn’d away with jealousy:
And her thorns were my only delight.”

Sweet Things
Sweet things are easy to buy,
But sweet people are difficult to find,
Life ends when you stop dreaming,
Hope ends when you stop believing,
Love ends when you stop caring,
Friendship ends when you stop sharing,
So share this with whom
ever you consider a friend.
To love without condition,
To talk without intention,
To give without reason,
And
To care without
“Expectation” is the heart of a ” True Friend”.
Stay Blessed.

The Meaning Of Love
Love is
being happy for the other person
when they are happy
being sad for the person
when they are sad
being together in good times
and being together in bad times
Love is the source of strength
Love is
being honest with yourself at all times
being honest with the other person at all times
telling, listening, respecting the truth
and never pretending
Love is the source of reality
Love is
an understanding so complete that
you feel as if you are a part
of the other person
accepting the other person
just the way they are
and not trying to change them
to be something else
Love is the source of unity
Love is
the freedom to pursue your own desires
while sharing your experiences
with the other person
the growth of one individual alongside of
and together with the growth
of another individual
Love is the source of success

Together
When we are together
There are no limitations
Together we fill the space
Between the earth & the moon
We can live in our dreams
Both big and small
We are the beauty
Within each others souls
Together we can soar
Above our spirits
For we share the most precious
Thing that life can bring us
The blessing of two hearts
We are as full as the moon above
When we are together “As One”

True Love
True love is a sacred flame
That burns eternally
And none can dim its special glow
Or change its destiny
True love speaks in tender tones
And hears with gentle ear
True love gives with open heart
And true love conquers fear
True love makes no harsh demands
It neither rules nor binds
And true love holds with gentle hands
The hearts that it entwines

Your Smile
Your Smile is a thrill to my heart
Your touch is a thrill to my flesh
Your breath fills me with such desire
Your heart beats upon my breast
The sounds of your passion fill me with glee
as I respond to you,
every time you make love to me

The Abiding Love
It singeth low in every heart,
We hear it each and all-
A song of those who answer not,
However we may call;
They throng the silence of the breast,
We see them as of yore-
The kind, the brave, the sweet,
Who walk with us no more.
‘Tis hard to take the burden up
When these have laid it down;
They brightened all the joy of life,
They softened every frown;
But, Oh, ’tis good to think of them
When we are troubled sore!
Thanks be to God that such have been,
Although they are no more.
More homelike seems the vast unknown
Since they have entered there;
To follow them were not so hard,
Wherever they may fare;
They cannot be where God is not,
On any sea or shore;
Whate’er betides, Thy love abides,
Our God, forever more.

All Paths Lead to You
All paths lead to you, where e’er I stray;
You are the evening star at the end of day.
All paths lead to you, hill-top or low;
You are the white birch in the sun’s glow.
All paths lead to you, where e’er I roam;
You are the lark-song calling me home!

A Dream With Desire
These words I’m about to write
Come straight from my heart
A dedication just for you
Although our lives are miles apart
But I must get off of my chest
What’s been spinning in my mind
And that’s to wrap you in my arms
As we journey on in time
I see us floating on a cloud
Running fingers through your hair
I pull you close to my heart
And breath love into your ear
As our bodies come entwine
I feel the softness of your skin
And as I gaze into your eyes
I feel a fire build within
We then caress each others body
While making love among the stars
To reach that peak of our desire
For ecstasy is ours
I know my thoughts are just a dream
A fantasy with such design
But this passion seems so real
And it’s you inside my mind

Faithfully
You are everything to me…The brightest Star
You are the end of my shadow following me faithfully
and softly saying to me “come and be lost with me”
Your love is mine faithfully
the perfect lift under the doves wings of hope
The first flicker of morning in my heart…
The last ray of light as I lay to rest
You are mine faithfully
Softly whispering ….
softly telling me of your love,
your devotion surpasses anything that I have ever known
All your love is born thou warmth,
come be lost with me in my soul.
Your love is mine faithfully
The loss of your love would leave my heart empty
in it vastness. this empty space
called life would die with out your love,
You are the brightness in everything I see
I will be yours until the end of time
if only you let me be

How Do I Love Thee
How Do I Love Thee?
Let me count the ways.
I love thee to the depth,
and breadth and height
My soul can reach,
when feeling out of sight
For the ends of Being an ideal Grace.
I love thee to the level of every day’s
Most quiet need,
by sun and candlelight.
I love thee freely,
as men strive for Right;
I love thee purely,
as they turn from Praise.
I love thee with the passion put to use
In my old grief’s,
and with my childhood’s faith.
I love thee with a love I seemed to lose
With my lost saints,
I love thee with the Breath,
Smiles, tears, of all my life!
and, if God choose,
I shall but love thee better after death.

Eyes I See the Sadness
In Your Eyes I See The Sadness
Wishing To Wipe Away Your Tears
Heartache Etched Within Your Soul
Leaving You With All Of Your Fears
My Gaze Burning Desperately
Trying To See Within
I Struggle To Embrace Your Broken Heart
Release The Compassion That Struggles To Be Free Again
Reaching Out To Hold You
Close To My Heart You Do Lay
I Will Always Be Here To Catch You
Never Allowing You To Wither Away
I See Within Your Crying Eyes
So Desperate To Belong
Envious Of The Future
As The Past Hinders You From Which You Long

When I Loved You
None wanted you when I loved you,
For they said that you were too mean,
An eagle that feasted on flesh
And could not be bothered to preen.
Though I discerned your inner jewel,
They saw only the rough of you.
I cut you with my expertise
And your own luster consumed you.
I made you see that you’re wondrous,
The meteor, not the crater,
Your otherworldly charm. You’re an
Infidel to your creator,
For now that I have made fine art,
The art says that it was not made.
You owe so much to my tender love
You immediately betrayed.
